POCACOV Set To Engage Triathletes, invited guests at the 1st IGP triathlon invitational Championship Abuja with POCACOV Sports Fair -------POCACOV National Coordinator
The National Coordinator Police Campaign Against Cultism and other Vices (POCACOV) CSP Ebere Amaraizu has maintained that the finishing line off the 1st IGP Triathlon Invitational Championship on 4/12/2021 (ABUJA 2021 at near Presidential Bridge inside M.K.O ABIOLA STADIUM Abuja, will feature many mouth watering and bumper packaged Sporting program known as POCACOV SPORTS FAIR. It will also create a veritable platform of connectivity and networking leading to sound relationship between the Nigeria Police Force with Stakeholders/Multi Agencies for participation and problem solving. It is all about mobilization, Partnership, Participation and Problem Solving.(MPPS). Triathlon is three in one Sports that has to do with Swimming, Biking and Running. You Know POCACOV as the NPF Community Policing Initiative is making use of the instrumentality and platform offered by the 1st IGP Triathlon Championship Abuja 2021 to interface and engage stakeholders/Multi Agencies on the with various NPF community driven Activities such as POCACOV in my Family, POCACOV in my Community, Not Too late to discover yourself -a program for people at custodial centres by Pocacov etc. POCACOV is NPF Community Policing Platform that uses all community policing approaches such as community members committee approach, Active Base approach and Forum Base approach to enhance citizens participation for problem solving (SAFETY, PEACE, SECURITY). The 1st IGP Triathlon invitational Championship on 4/12/2021 will have participations from Armed Forces, Other Security Agencies, Community Policing Stakeholders, School Children, Community based Organizations, Youth Based organizations, Sports Administrators and other relevant sports institutions amongst others. Triathletes are expected to swim 400 metres at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium Swimming Pool then Bike 10km through Package B exit of City Gate through Area 1 bridge to APO Roundabout and returning same way back to the stadium and conclude with 2.5 km Run inside the stadium and get to the finishing line at near the Presidential bridge inside the stadium venue of the POCACOV SPORTS FAIR and with side attractions and other mouth watering sporting and entertainment activities by POCACOV Ambassadors (Artiste and Comedians).
